BSNL inks pact with IITM, Anna University to expand 4G/5G in campuses, improve students’ employability

NEW DELHI: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Wednesday signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IIT Madras and Anna University, Chennai, to create new growth opportunities for students and young professionals, and also drive the much-needed public-private partnership in the telecom industry. The pact also includes the expansion of BSNL’s 4G and 5G networks on the campuses.

“BSNL’s involvement in these initiatives aligns seamlessly with the Digital India vision of the government, underlining its commitment to fostering technological growth and educational excellence in collaboration with key players in the academic domain,” the telco said in a statement.
