Sony PlayStation VR2 launched in India, price starts at Rs 57,999

The PlayStation VR2 has finally launched in India, almost 10 months after it went on sale in global markets. It’s not surprising for a PlayStation product, but what’s surprising is Sony’s silence as the PSVR2 launching in India seems a rather quite affair. The PSVR2 is listed on Sony’s official online store— ShopatSC— at the time of writing and is ready to ship, at least to all the PIN codes we tried which is to say that unlike the PS5 during the early days, Sony isn’t gauging buyer interest by kicking-off pre-orders first and so, general availability seems better. (Our order was ready to ship by December 15, 2023).
