Lenovo India sales fall 12% in FY23 as Indian PC market declines

Chinese personal computer (PC) manufacturer Lenovo India sales declined by 12% year-on-year in 2022-23 at Rs 12,679 crore while net profit fell by a sharper 45% at Rs 103 crore, as per the company’s latest regulatory filings to the Registrar of Companies (RoC).

Industry executives said this is a reflection of the overall fall in PC demand in FY23 post the Covid peak in sales then due to work and study from home and also due to high inflation impacting consumption.
