Remaining OpenAI executives working to ‘unify’ staff after Sam Altman’s firing
Hours after OpenAI employees threatened mass resignations saying that they want to join Microsoft, with ousted CEO Sam Altman, the company leadership said that it is working to unify the divided staff.
According to a report by Bloomberg, Anna Makanju, who is the OpenAI vice president of global affairs, said in a memo to the remaining employees that the company is in “intense discussions” to unify its divided staff.
“We can assure you that our number one goal remains to reunify OpenAI and discussions are actively ongoing,” Makanju said in the memo, the publication reported.
