Telecom giant Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal has an important message for customers. Airtel CEO has sent an email to the company’s subscribers on embedded SIM or e-SIM as it is also known. The email answers all important questions on e-SIM as well as how Airtel subscribers can upgrade to e-SIM. Incidentally, Airtel was the first company to launch e-SIM in India. Among devices, Google Pixel 2 was the first smartphone to offer eSIM support. Apple introduced e-SIM with its 2018 line-up of iPhones — the premium iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.
