Amazon has a ‘$20 billion plan’ for India: Key details

Amazon,
is targeting exports of merchandise worth $20 billion from India by 2025 and it plans to reach this figure by adding thousands of small sellers to its e-commerce platform, the company said, adding that there’s a huge demand for “Made in India” products.

“We are very encouraged by the number of entrepreneurs who signed up this year. We are looking to scale up,” news agency Reuters quoted Bhupen Wakankar, director global trade, Amazon, told Reuters on the sidelines of an industry event, as saying.
