What Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella told OpenAI’s Sam Altman at its developers conference
OpenAI, the company that developed ChatGPT chatbot, held its first developer conference on Monday (November 6). During the event, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella made a surprise appearance heaping praise on OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman for building “something magical”.
“Our job No. 1 is to build the best system, so that you can build the best models and then make that all available to developers,” Nadella told Altman.
Soon after OpenAI launched ChatGPT about a year ago, Microsoft announced that it is investing billions in the company. Reports said that the Copilot maker invested $13 billion in OpenAI.
