Trai seeks views on improving inbuilding mobile coverage

Mumbai: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has asked for industry views on the mechanism for rating framework of digital connectivity in buildings or areas, a move aimed at ensuring better mobile coverage inside premises.

It has asked stakeholders for their opinion on what should be the rating criteria for such buildings, the key eligibility conditions and code of conduct for the agency that provides ratings, the template for the ratings, and the process of ascertaining ratings, among other things.
