Google starts rolling out auto archive on Play Store to more users

Irrespective of the phone you buy, over time, the storage gets cluttered. Google already has a lot of measures in place to help users combat the storage clutter. Things like built-in storage managers already let users clear some storage space on the Android devices.

The company recently rolled out a new feature called app archive that automatically triggers when users try to install an app when the storage is full. However, the company is now making it more accessible by adding a new toggle for this in the Play Store.

The feature was spotted by Mishaal Rahman on X (formerly Twitter) and AssembleDebug on Telegram. As per the post, the auto archive feature is now rolling out to more users.
