Google’s AI-powered search comes to India: How to sign-up and start using

Google has rolled out its generative AI search experience to first countries outside the US. The list includes two countries — Indian and Japan. The company has announced that starting today, August 31, it is expanding its new AI-powered search feature, also known as SGE (Search Generative Experience), to these countries. The new AI-powered search feature will become available through Google’s Search Labs.

What is Google SGE

The AI-powered search feature, SGE, was announced at this year’s edition of the company’s developers conference in May, Google I/O 2023. Google SGE introduces a conversational mode to Google Search where users can ask Google questions about a topic and then have it return answers, similar to an AI chatbot.
