Sun TV shares hit multi-year high, ‘show likely to go on’

Mumbai: The blistering run-up in shares of Sun TV to a four-year high may not be over yet. The Chennai-based company has seen its shares surge 40% in two months as against the 30% upside in Nifty Media index helped by the success of its recent production, the Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Jailer’, prospects of improvement in advertising revenue and its cricket franchise. Analysts said there is scope for Sun shares gaining as much as 24% from current levels.
