No coercive actions against Tata Communications in Rs. 991.5 Cr license fee demand

The Telecom Dispute Settlement & Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) order the Central government not to take coercive steps against Tata Communication in relation to Rs. 991.5 crore license fee demand till the next date f hearing.

The interim order was passed by a coroam of TDSAT Chairperson Justice DN Patel and Member Subodh Kumar Gupta on a plea filed by Tata challenging the Telecom department’s license fee demand for the years 2006-2007 and 2007-2008.
