Vodafone Idea Q1 Preview: Telco to stay in red on continued subscriber loss; ARPU seen up

Continued losses in subscribers and cost constraints are expected to keep Vodafone Idea in the red in the quarter ended June 2023. While the consolidated loss is likely to narrow on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, it is likely to widen sequentially.

The telecom operator is expected to report a net loss of Rs 6,895 crore for the June quarter, compared to a loss of Rs 7,297 crore a year ago, and a loss of Rs 6,419 crore a quarter ago.
