YouTube starts rolling out 1080p Premium video quality to web

YouTube started testing the 1080p Premium tier on its platform a couple of months ago. Later, the company started rolling it out on iOS, Android and Google TV users. Now, the video-sharing platform has confirmed that it has made the feature available on desktop web clients as well.

For those unaware, 1080p Premium is a new video quality option that the company is offering to Premium users. This improves the overall bit rate of the video and enhances the quality, sharpness and details.
