Xiaomi Redmi 12 review: 5G for the masses, but display, camera leave much to be desired

Xiaomi, stung by erosion in its India market share for two consecutive quarters (Q1 2023 and Q2 2023), has placed bold bets on the affordable Redmi 12 5G. It is pitched against 5G smartphones by Xiaomi’s own sub-brand Poco, Samsung, homegrown handset maker Lava, as well as, Oppo and Realme.
