Proximus deal opens up North American market: Route Mobile CEO Rajdip Gupta

Mumbai: Route Mobile’s recent acquisition by Belgian connectivity and digital services major Proximus Group is in line with the Indian CPaaS (communication-platform-as-a-service) provider’s ambition to capture the North American market, Route chief executive Rajdip Gupta told ET.

On completion of the deal, Route would be able to operate in the high-margin CPaaS market in the US and, in return, Proximus could drive cost efficiencies using Route’s established network in India, he said.
