Vivo announces V3 imaging chip for X series flagship smartphones

Vivo has announced the V3 imaging chip that will feature 4k movie portrait mode in their upcoming flagship phones.

This mode will be similar to the iPhone’s Cinematic mode.

Jia Jingdong, the Vice President and General Manager of Brand & Product Strategy at the company, has made a teaser announcement on Weibo regarding the V3.

Vivo says that the company’s philosophy revolves around the idea of “Technology from the heart, images from the heart.” This philosophy has inspired Vivo to constantly strive for better self-research technology, with the goal of providing professional-level imaging capabilities to everyday people.
