AI to play key role in advancing development across sectors: Former telecom secy

NEW DELHI: Artificial intelligence (AI) can play a key role in advancing healthcare, smart cities, infrastructure, financial inclusivity, and more in India, said former Department of Telecommunications (DoT) secretary Aruna Sundararajan on Thursday.

“AI can play a crucial role in advancing healthcare, smart cities, infrastructure, financial inclusivity, transportation, climate, gender equality, and other key priority areas,” said Sundararajan, who is presently the Chairperson of Broadband India Forum (BIF).
