PC market stabilises in Q2 2023, Apple and HP gain as others falter

The global PC market seems to be stabilising after it saw a 28% decline in Q1 2023. According to a report by Counterpoint, global PC shipments saw an 8% increase since last quarter. The report assures that the inventory levels have continued to normalise in Q2, however, global PC shipments are still down by 15% compared to Q2 2022. The year-on-year decline in Q2 suggests that the shipment downturn since Q1 2022 has relatively stabilised, the report notes. Moreover, the PC market also saw the first quarter-on-quarter growth since Q1 2022.
