Swiggy acquires Lynk

CHENNAI: Swiggy has acquired Lynk Logistics by buying a stake from Ramco Group.

Lynk will continue to operate as an independent business post the acquisition led by co-founder and CEO Shekhar Bhende. With this acquisition, Swiggy enters India’s food and grocery retail market.

Founded in 2015 by Ramco Group scion Abinav Raja and co-founder Shekhar Bhende, logistics tech startup Lynk counted Ramco Group as a key shareholder. The cements major has now sold its entire shareholding in Lynk to Swiggy by way of a share swap arrangement.
