Microsoft to end support for these Windows 11 versions: Who will be affected, what you can do and more

Microsoft Windows 11 is the most recent version of the Windows operating system. According to the company’s most recent notification on the Microsoft Lifecycle website, support for certain versions of Windows 11 will not be available by the end of the year.

Not all Windows 11 versions will be affected

The notable part here is that the company is only discontinuing support for some versions of Windows 11 operating system — the original versions — to be more specific. Microsoft announced Windows 11 back in October 2021. Two years later, the company has confirmed that all versions of the operating system released in October 2021 will reach the end of their lifecycle on October 10.
