DoT clears empanelment of 190 ITS officers to JS-level

NEW DELHI: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has finally cleared the empanelment of as many as 190 Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) officers to the joint secretary (JS)-level, according to a notification issued on Wednesday.

The telecom department (DoT) in a notification promoted Group A ITS officers of 1993, 1994 and 1995 batches to JS or equivalent level, following the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) 2014 circular mandating guidelines for the evaluation of eligibility for Group A officers.
