The latest insider preview build of Windows 11 by Microsoft has an updated Windows Ink feature that allows users to directly write entries by hand into fields throughout the operating system.
“Windows Ink is being modernised to allow users to enable inking directly onto edit fields,” the company announced in a blog post.
Previously, this feature was only functional in certain software like OneNote or fields specifically designed for handwritten text recognition.
