Cyber security breach hits BBC, British Airways and Boots. This is what happened

In a cyber security breach, BBC, British Airways and Boots have been hit badly. The personal data, which includes bank and contact details of the employees, seems to have been exposed.

The hackers seem to have exploited a vulnerability in MOVEit Transfer software last week to get hold of some information. This seems to have affected a growing number of UK firms and their staff.

A zero-day vulnerability, which is a flaw in the file transfer system MOVEit published by Progress Software, was exploited by cyber criminals last week, as per reports.
