AWS India head Puneet Chandok quits, head of data centers Vonderhaar departs too: Reports

NEW DELHI: Amazon Web Services (AWS) head of India and South Asia, Puneet Chandok, has quit the company, Tech Crunch reported citing two sources familiar with the matter. The development comes shortly after the cloud computing giant pledged to invest over $12 billion in India by 2030.

Chandok served as the President of AWS India and South Asia, and joined the e-commerce major four years ago. His last day at AWS is in August, the report said.

The publication said that a broader group of Amazon executives have also been informed of Chandok’s departure from the company.
