Two more top Wipro execs quit
BENGALURU: Senior level exits continue at Wipro despite a slew of promotions earlier this year. Mohd Haque, SVP and head of healthcare and medical devices for the Americas, and Ashish Saxena, SVP, and head of the manufacturing and hi-tech business unit, have quit the firm. Haque was a two-decade veteran at Wipro, and was managing a team of 21,000 people responsible for P&L, sales, strategy, delivery, consulting, and account management. He also led the inclusion and diversity council for Wipro Americas. Saxena, who led a $1-billion business unit, was responsible for the strategic roadmap of his segment, and driving revenue growth, profit margin, and customer satisfaction. Saxena is leaving after nearly six years with Wipro.
Gurvinder Sahni, who was VP and strategic advisor, had quit in April, and joined Persistent Systems as chief marketing officer (CMO) soon after.
