Verizon cautions customer service staff of impending layoffs: Report

NEW DELHI: Verizon has notified its customer service employees of an upcoming restructuring exercise that is likely to result in significant layoffs, US-based technology publication The Verge reported.

The report said that the US telecom carrier held a meeting with 6,000 employees, and added, that the restructuring measures could impact more employees.

More details will be shared on May 25, the report said citing a pre-recorded message that the employees received.
