NEW DELHI: India can play an active role in the standardisation and technology R&D of the sixth-generation or 6G networks, which is expected to be available seven years from now, according to a top executive of Reliance Jio.
“I think this is the right time,” said Ravi Gandhi, President & Chief of Public Policy and Regulatory at Jio, at an industry event on Tuesday. “We should take the lead and succeed in 6G. We are rolling out (5G) as fast as any other country,” he added.
