Meta took action over 38.4 million pieces of content in a month

Social media giant Meta in its India monthly transparency report released on Tuesday revealed that it actioned over 38.4 million pieces of content across 13 policies for Facebook and 4.61 million pieces of content across 12 policies for Instagram in March.

Meta published Monday the India Monthly Report under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 for the period from March 1 to March 31.
