Google’s multi-billion dollar campus is on ‘hold’, here’s why

Google, just like various other tech majors, is working to balance its accounts. In January, the Alphabet-owned company announced that it will be laying off 12,000 employees, which translates to 6% of its workforce. Now, according to a new report, the company’s 80-acre mega-campus called “Downtown West” in San Jose, is also affected due to the economic downturn.
