BTSs increases five times to 94,135, 5G roll out progressing strongly in Northeast: Vaishnaw

NEW DELHI: The number of base transceiver stations (BTSs) in Northeast India has increased five times, from 19,722 to 94,135 today, said Union Minister of Communications (MoC) Ashwini Vaishnaw Saturday, adding that northeastern states have also made strong progress in 5G roll out.
