Microsoft plans to unveil compact Surface Pro and Surface Go models featuring ARM processor in 2024

Microsoft is reportedly working on a more compact version of the Surface Pro and an ARM-powered device named Surface Go 4. According to a report by Windows Central, Surface Go 4 and Surface Pro go by the codename ‘Tanta’ and ‘Luxor’.

The base variant of the Surface Go 4 will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 7c chipset with performance similar to the current-gen Surface Go and come with increased power efficiency that might translate to better battery life.

The report suggests that the upcoming ARM-based device might also bring support for 5G. Microsoft is also expected to launch an Intel-powered Surface Go 4.
