C-DAC celebrates 36th Foundation Day with launch of innovative tech, products
C-DAC CELEBRATED its 36th Foundation Day recently by launching indigenously developed products and solutions like Forest Fire Spread Simulation System using High Performance Computing.
“With its first HPC mission in 1988 and subsequent delivery of PARAM series of supercomputers, C-DAC has been the forerunner of the ICT revolution in India. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) was established as a scientific society under the Union Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. The organisation has been moving ahead with the vision to emerge as the premier R&D institution for the design, development and deployment of world class electronics and IT solutions for economic and human advancement which the nation is looking upon to take it through the era of transformation,” stated a press release.
