India tops the list of South Asian nations with most data requests from Big Tech firms: report

India has highest number of government requests for user data from Big Tech companies in South Asia, a report from popular VPN service Surfshark showed on Monday.

Between 2013 and 2021, Meta and Google received the highest number of account requests from India, according to the report.
