Police plan cyber hygiene classes at Kolkata schools from next session
KOLKATA: Lalbazar is finalizing a plan to reach out to as many schools as possible to hold classes on cyber hygiene from next academic year.
The cops have planned to approach the schools in two ways. One, a direct approach where cops will present before students, teachers and parents the challenges of modern age cyber crimes. Under this project, cops will visit schools and explain the threats. It will be an interactive interaction.
But cops are also planning a more permanent presence in schools. In a bid to reinforce cyber security in schools, Kolkata Police is bringing its ambitious Cyber Sathi Project, which it believes will be a vital tool for protecting the city’s teens online.
