ISpA seeks creation of Space Technology Parks in India to drive industry growth

NEW DELHI: The creation of Space Technology Parks (STPs) in India have the potential to drive the growth of the space industry and attract investments from leading companies and organisations that are already working in this field, the Indian Space Association (ISpA) said Wednesday.

“It is crucial to have the support of existing corporations and tech conglomerates in establishing Space Technology Parks in India, thus propelling the Indian Space Industry Ecosystem ahead. Companies should consider prioritising CSR towards this as it is becoming increasingly important to project a socially conscious image,” Jayant Patil, Chairman, ISpA said.
