India willing to partner with IEEE for standardized, secure gear: Rajaraman
NEW DELHI: Telecom secretary K Rajaraman has expressed India’s willingness to co-partner with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) to make telecom products standardized, secure, and affordable.
At a workshop, Rajaraman launched the ‘IEEE-C-DoT Certified Telecom Expert Program (ICCTEP)’ which was collaborated by the IEEE and the Centre for Development of Telematics to offer learning opportunities in the areas of 5G, cyber security, and quantum communications with the objective to bridge the skill gap.
“This program was launched during the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA) Workshop centred on “Next Generation Connectivity”, here yesterday,” according to a Ministry of Communications statement on Wednesday.
