DoT to soon ask Vodafone Idea to clear 3rd quarter dues

New Delhi: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) is expected to send a notice to Vodafone Idea (Vi) soon, asking the company to give a tentative date for making the full payment of licence fee and spectrum usage charges (SUC) for the October-December quarter. The company is believed to have paid just around 10% of its statutory dues for the period.

As per officials aware of the details, DoT and Vi have already discussed the issue informally.
