APAC fixed communications revenue to grow to $378.5 bn by 2027: GlobalData

NEW DELHI: Fixed communications service revenue in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region is expected to increase at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 1.1% to $378.5 billion by 2027, on the back of growing fixed broadband service adoption, particularly in the emerging markets of the region, according to a report by GlobalData released on Tuesday.

APAC is a “moderately developed region” in terms of fixed broadband adoption, with fixed broadband penetration in the population reaching 19.7% at the year-end 2022, as per the research firm.
