US and EU sign first-of-its-kind AI agreement: Read the details
The United States and the European Union have signed an agreement to collaborate on “responsible advancements” in Artificial Intelligence (AI). A senior US administration official termed it the first sweeping AI agreement between the United States and Europe. The agreement aims to speed up and enhance the use of artificial intelligence to improve agriculture, healthcare, emergency response, climate forecasting and the electric grid.

“Today, the United States and the European Union signed an administrative arrangement to bring together experts from across the U.S. and Europe to further research on artificial intelligence (AI), computing, and related privacy protecting technologies, as underscored in the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) commitment.
