India digital transformation in focus as Jaishankar, Pichai meet

A day after he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Google CEO Sundar Pichai on Tuesday met Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. The tech giant boss and the Union Minister spoke on global developments and digitalisation. “Great to meet CEO, @Google and Alphabet, @sundarpichai today afternoon. Discussed India’s digital transformation and global strategic developments. (sic),” Jaishankar tweeted post the meeting.

On Monday, Pichai had met the Prime Minister and discussed with him a gamut of issues, including India G20 presidency. “Thank you for a great meeting today PM @narendramodi. Inspiring to see the rapid pace of technological change under your leadership,” he wrote on Twitter.
