What Sundar Pichai said about coming back to India for the first time since the pandemic

Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai is in India after a gap of close to three years. In a blog post, Pichai outlined what’s on his agenda for the trip and how it is always “special to come back to India, and this trip is especially meaningful as it’s my first visit back since the pandemic.”

On what brings him to India
Pichai said that the first and foremost reason for his visit is to meet with Googlers “as the team has grown significantly since I was last here.” He also said that he wanted to see progress being made from our $10 billion, 10-year India Digitsation Fund (IDF).
