Ericsson, Apple end patent-related legal feud with license agreement

NEW DELHI: Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson and iPhone maker Apple on Friday signed a multi-year, global patent license agreement, thereby ending patent-related lawsuits filed by both companies.

“The agreement includes a cross-license relating to patented cellular standard-essential technologies and grants certain other patent rights,” as per a statement by Ericsson.
