Karnataka government to finalise convenience fee for app-based auto rides soon

The Karnataka government will finalise in a day or two the convenience fee that app-based aggregators can charge customers who book auto rides through their platforms, senior government officials told ET.

Karnataka’s transport department must file an affidavit before the high court on Friday on how much companies such as Uber and Ola can collect from users who book auto rides on their apps.
