Talent pool in data storage, management set to double in coming years: Survey

India is poised to become a global hub in emerging technologies like AI and cloud. According to a new survey, for deep tech areas like storage and data management technologies, MNCs are leveraging the talent in the country to build successful global products and solutions at scale.

Today, the employed talent across the world in this sector is estimated to be more than 6 million with the Asia-Pacific accounting for nearly half the talent. Of the total talent pool of 2.7 million in the APAC region, India accounts for more than 1/4th of this talent, according to the survey ‘Flash Forward: The India Opportunity’.
