Netflix The Crown draws criticism over Prince William’s depiction in Season 5

The ‘sad’ portrayal of Prince William in season 5 of Netflix’s The Crown has drawn criticism. Season five will include a young Wills, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, and the Duke of Cornwall.

In the new series, Prince William has been characterized as depressed and unsatisfied. Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal expert, advised several publications that people viewing The Crown should keep in mind that William did experience joyful times as well, even back in the 1990s.
