iPhone users to get 5G support from next week, Apple to roll out iOS 16 beta software update

iPhones will receive software updates to enable 5G support for public beta testing starting next week. The update is being rolled out much ahead of Apple’s plan for a wider rollout slated for December. The update will let iPhone users with Airtel 5G and Jio 5G services be able to use 5G services next week.

Delegates from the Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple, are expected to meet members of C-DoT, the research branch of the Department of Telecommunications to inform them about the public beta rollout.
