Tata Power reports cyber attack on its IT infrastructure

MUMBAI: Tata Power Company on Friday reported a cyber attack on its IT infrastructure, impacting some of its systems.

A company official said steps were being taken to retrieve and restore systems. All critical operations are functioning and there was zero impact on the power supply across Mumbai and to BEST, said a senior official. He added that the impact was “internal” and was being probed.

A company spokesperson said “preventive checks have been put in place”.
