These Xiaomi phones to start receiving 5G software update by Diwali

Following Apple and Samsung, Xiaomi has also announced that most of its smartphones will start receiving the software updates for 5G SA by Diwali. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that most of its smartphones in India will start receiving firmware OTA updates for 5G support by Diwali.

Xiaomi also revealed that it has started rolling out the firmware update for some select Xiaomi smartphones which include Xiaomi 12 Pro, Mi 11X Pro, Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge.

“Currently, 100% of our 5G smartphone models support the NSA network out of the box, wherein users can choose ‘Prefer 5G’ in network settings to connect to the 5G network.
