Amazon India’s erstwhile biggest seller Cloudtail revenue jumped 15% before shutdown

Cloudtail, formerly the biggest seller on e-commerce marketplace Amazon India, reported a 15% jump in revenue to Rs 19,076 crore, while losses widened 2.8 times to Rs 522 crore in financial year 2021-22 (FY22).

Cloudtail’s biggest expenditure was related to purchase of inventory, which rose around 6% to Rs 15,492 crore.
